Tunisian Makroudh

1. Mix in bowl flour salt, cinnamon, melted butter.
2.Mix very well the butter with flour.
3.Leave stand overnight.
4.Stuffing: mix very well date paste with all ingredient and make a long sausage that you wrap with fil and leave on the side.
5.Making makroudh: take small part of the mixture od flour and add some water mixed with rose water.
6.Take always small parts of the mixture of flour and not all the quantity and not use too much water otherwise it will be hard after frying.
7.Make a sausage with flour mixture and dig a long hallow on the sausage.
8.Put the sausage of date paste on the dig of flour and close the flour mixture.
9.Flat the mixture on table and decorate with special wooden tool for makroudh.
10.The tool make nice form on top of the makroudh with same size.
11.Continue with the total quantity.
12.Fry the in hot oil to get nice coulor.
13.Remove from frying pan and mix with honey and rose water or date syrup.
14.Keep in the mixture of honey or date syrup for 10 min.
15.Remove and place in a drainer.
16.Kool for few hour and then serve with mint tea.
